helloo again, just been told that the money goes into our accounts friday so we will be out sunday .can any kind person just list out the documents we need to bring out just incase we have missed summthing we r buying a home cash in the lasithi sissi area both drive and want to open a bank account so any recomondations or advice will be appreciated.tony and shirley

Oct 2007 at 08:03 If it is Sunday 14th, then you have just three days to get your no claims bonus certificate/document from your UK car insurer.....plenty of passport photos (relatively expensive here) and a tax clearance certificate from your tax office, unless of course they are already in the bag, so to speak. Oct 2007 at 10:03 I would recommend opening an account with National Bank of Greece or Piraeus Bank. Purely because they have excellent online banking facility, and its in English. When i first wanted a bank account, i was recommended Eurobank, but their online service was all in Greek. Good luck
