Makro now have British sausages in store , they are a bag of 8 for 1 euro 89 cents, same price as last year.

No Brit bacon there as yet, but it was the gammon salty slices they had last year, ok in a flan  or  if you soaked it over night in water.

Kerrygold cheddar cheese is still 2 euro`s a block, in Carrefour it is 2-44.

I normally make my own sausage rolls , so the puff pastry in Makro is the best so far that I have used, this is on offer at 2-14 for a kilo.

Lidl has so far got the cheapest minced pork, 700 grams for around 3 euros fifty cents , mix in a good tablespoon of paprika, 2 slices of bread , rubbed into breadcrumbs, teaspoon of soda, teaspoon of parsley, 1 egg and a whole jar of dried onions from Carrefour, give all of it a good mixing by hand and use in pastry for sausage rolls, very tasty and the old fashioned way.

Can`t say i have seen them in the Lidl by Carrefour, but will look tomorrow , thanks Peebee.
