Jun 2010 at 10:43 Do you get high pollen counts in Crete? They are very high here in the West of England in June,and just wondered what the norm was.

Jun 2010 at 13:06 I just wondered,my son gets a bit of hay fever if it is VERY high ,and I just wanted to know if it was the same as England-I think it's grass pollen he has trouble with in June but not every year.

Jul 2010 at 11:48 I find the worst pollen problems come from the pine trees. Only oil seed rape produces a reaction from me in the UK, but our pines cause a problem in the first few months of spring in Crete.

Jul 2010 at 19:12 In the south of the England I suffer from hayfever from early June until the end of July. In Crete I don't seem to get hayfever at all, maybe it's the wrong sort of pollen! I haven't yet found a website that gives the current pollen counts in Crete.

Jul 2010 at 19:24 That's what I was hoping GG,but mind you I have no idea about pine pollen,eleni,hope it's ok as my villa is near a pine forest..lol.I only get problems with rape fields in UK too,they give me sinusitus every year,and there seem to be more of them every year!
