I think that you need to be realistic and accept that the chances of finding a job are near zero at the moment.

Firstly, Greek families tend to adopt their elderly relatives and take responsibility for looking after them. They also have little money for paid help.

Secondly, with unemployment running at over 20% and over 50% in the under 25's you will be well down the list after relatives, friends, and friends of friends. Unless you are fluent in Greek your chances are even lower.

You may think that you could work in a hospital but you need to check that your qualifications are valid here as many are not. Hospitals have no money for drugs let alone pay their staff. A nurse friend of mine has just been laid off after not being paid for 5 months. Are you prepared to work for nothing?

Sorry to be so negative but, in the current climate, you would be crazy to leave a job in the UK to move here. If you need to work to survive just forget it!
