Jun 2012 at 09:44 yes it can be used for sky italia. its on the same satelite as nova so no need to move it, 90% progs in englsh, just the adverts in italian, ive had it for 6 years no probs, far better than nova

Does anyone know about getting a Nova package? There is a good deal on offer at the mo but I can't find anyone who knows about the installation and set up of TV/internet and phone with Nova. Apparently Nova have teamed up with Tooway and Forthnet. Can you get Nova anywhere as it's based on a satellite signal? I am getting nowhere on this one!!! Undecided

its a bit like sky uk, only the adverts are in italian, google it for full channel list, it has the usual discoverys ', nat geo, fox, its like sky one ,news sports ans films, you will need an original smart card, or a sharing box, like a dreambox or openbox, or the like, oh and a internet connection, if your going to use a card sharing server, it uses the same satellite hotbird 13deg east

Jun 2012 at 10:29 if he goes the "company" route, he will pay full price just like in the uk, google cardsharing and look into it, its far cheaper, sky uk 70quid full pakage with cardshare around 10 a month, so its a lot cheaper

Time to ditch Sky! Does anyone know what live sports events are on Nova Sports throughout the year? I know football coverage is usually v good but wondered if they show events like tennis grand slams, International rugby union etc I have tried the internet and e mailing Nova but no joy! They have a good deal on the full package at the mo and cheaper than Sky!

Mar 2013 at 23:20 They certainly showed live some of the games from the 6 Nations Rugby last weekend & I'm pretty sure they show tennis & many other sports during the year. You also get Eurosport & Eurosport 2 with any nova package.
